My third podcast episode drops tomorrow. Here’s a sneak peek.

Within a week of me deciding to launch my podcast I happened across Jennifer Pastiloff’s IG announcement that she was offering a one-day writing workshop Saturday, January 13, 2024, called, “Allow.” The timing seemed fortuitous.

I was confident that this workshop arrived with perfect timing, because after the initial giddiness at the thought of starting a podcast, overwhelm and fear smacked me up side the head. And I found myself paralyzed.

So I signed up for the workshop and here are my six takeaways:

  1. Other people’s accomplishments mean nothing in the context of me.
  2. I get to change my mind.
  3. Where am I deciding ahead of time that something is going to be hard?
  4. The idea of the thing is worse than the thing.
  5. It’s ok to play and be silly.
  6. Be willing to suck.

To understand the meaning behind this photo, catch the podcast here.

Bill and I headed for Nevada ahead of their Caucus.
