My third podcast episode drops tomorrow. Here’s a sneak peek.
Within a week of me deciding to launch my podcast I happened across Jennifer Pastiloff’s IG announcement that she was offering a one-day writing workshop Saturday, January 13, 2024, called, “Allow.” The timing seemed fortuitous.
I was confident that this workshop arrived with perfect timing, because after the initial giddiness at the thought of starting a podcast, overwhelm and fear smacked me up side the head. And I found myself paralyzed.
So I signed up for the workshop and here are my six takeaways:
- Other people’s accomplishments mean nothing in the context of me.
- I get to change my mind.
- Where am I deciding ahead of time that something is going to be hard?
- The idea of the thing is worse than the thing.
- It’s ok to play and be silly.
- Be willing to suck.
